This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Job Accountabilities: Support and enhance an existing online information-processing system based on a mix of BAL, C/C++, and Linux-based scripted applications. Software Development: work within an Agile Delivery team developing software applications, services, and systems while delivering and enhancing CAS products and solutions. Partner with product management, delivery leads, and other technical staff to explore, prioritize, create solutions, breakdown work, coach others as needed, and drive software projects to successful completion. DevOps: provide production operational support as part of a larger support team. Troubleshoot reported issues, analyze potential solutions and deliver implemented fixes as part of a highly organized change management system. Qualifications: 4-year degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of Application Delivery and Software Development. Unix/Linux skills and C/C++ language experience is desired Strong experience utilizing scripting languages such as Kshell/Bash/Perl/Python to accomplish complex tasks. Mainframe Skills and BAL language experience is a significant plus Leadership: experience leading or helping to lead application delivery teams. Strong communication abilities: must be comfortable asking challenging questions and respectfully participating in, and leading, discussions with a diverse set of stakeholders and your own team.
