Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, we're looking for a Sr. Director, Product Management who'll be responsible for guiding the strategic direction; development; and deployment of our new data platform, EDB Postgres AI. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in data platform development and OLTP use cases, and can seamlessly blend technical expertise with business acumen.

Your impact will be:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the new data platform, keeping in line with company objectives and market needs.

  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure product alignment across functions.

  • Drive OLTP-focused product initiatives, ensuring the platform is optimized for high-volume transactional processes.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and competitive insights to ensure the platform remains cutting-edge.

  • Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure the platform addresses real-world challenges.

  • Clearly communicate the product strategy, updates, and KPIs to stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers and collaborate closely with the engineering leadership.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.

  • 8+ years of leadership experience in product management, with a focus on data platforms; OLTP use cases and AI

  • Demonstrated track record of leading successful product launches in the data platform domain.

  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to converse with engineers, architects, and data scientists.

  • Exceptional leadership qualities and ability to inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with current data technologies and architectures.
