We are seeking a Research Assistant to join our dynamic Research & Development (R&D) team at our state-of-the-art biomanufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. Key Responsibilities: * Lab-based Research: Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of experimental studies in biomanufacturing and related fields. * Process Development Support: Help with the development, optimization, and scale-up of research experiments. * Data Collection & Analysis: Perform accurate data collection, analysis, and interpretation using industry-standard software and tools. * Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and findings in compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and manufacturing experts, to ensure seamless integration of research outcomes into real-world applications. * Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest biomanufacturing trends, technologies, and best practices, and contribute to the innovation process. What We're Looking For: * Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. * Experience: Prior research experience in a laboratory setting (biomanufacturing, animals, cell culture, molecular biology, etc.) is preferred but not required. * Skills & Qualities: * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment. * Familiarity with lab equipment and software for data analysis (e.g., Excel, statistical software). * Excellent communication and documentation skills. * A Passion for Science & Innovation: Enthusiasm for advancing biomanufacturing and a genuine interest in making a difference in a rapidly evolving field.
