Actalent is urgently hiring a Quality Analyst in the Columbus, Ohio area!

Job Overview:

We're looking for an entry-level candidate to perform essential lab testing across three key areas after collecting samples from the plant floor: in-process testing (acid/salt tests and taste tests), pH/viscosity testing and titrations, and packaging/QA inspections. Key responsibilities include testing ingredients and products, documenting results, maintaining product retention samples, organizing data for management, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Requirements:

• Familiarity with food science and manufacturing processes

• Basic lab testing skills

• Strong attention to detail

Details:

• Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)

• Location: Fully on-site in Columbus, Ohio

• Environment: Food manufacturing facility; PPE required includes steel-toed shoes, lab coat, gloves, and safety glasses. Wear comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty.

Shift:

2nd Shift, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Pay:

22/HR
