JPMorgan Chase Project Manager II- Delivery Management in Columbus, Ohio

As a Project Manager II- Delivery Management in Operations Program Support, you will be innovating Project Management across Consumer and Community Banking Operations. You will manage complex projects by developing a plan, analyzing potential risks/benefits, working with your business partners to land on the best solutions, and driving your team through completion.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage one or more fast-paced projects that have significant impact on the business - your efforts will focus on strong controls initiatives spanning across Performance Consulting organization.

  • Define key roles and responsibilities and work with customers and impacted areas to ensure appropriate resources are assigned throughout project life

  • Work effectively at all levels of the project providing communications to management and stakeholders on a regular basis

  • Demonstrate your ability to lead the business towards solutions, resolve issues/risks, and gain agreement on milestones

  • Help us to improve - contribute to development and implementation of best practices, project standards, procedures, building a continuous improvement model

  • Maintain our control environment by ensuring projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control, and other relevant firmwide guidelines

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of related project management experience.

  • Strong understanding of processes and best practices of project management execution

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and addressing issues in a timely manner ensuring least impact on project timelines and overall risk; organized, structured work style

  • Experience in writing and creating documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows and user guides for small and large-scale projects

  • Proven ability to manage a team through ambiguity and define path forward.

  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity to ensure successful and timely execution of projects, proven analytical abilities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills; must be able to communicate progress and issues to the project team and stakeholders regularly, thoroughly, and clearly throughout the project

  • Self-starter, strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and details in an efficient manner

  • Experience working with controls, policy and procedural changes required to conduct validations

  • Project Management certification
