CAS is currently seeking a Product Manager of Customer Integration for our Product Management team. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. CAS is seeking an entrepreneurial, scientifically minded individual to help further our product strategy and product development to facilitate an ecosystem for customer integration across the CAS portfolio of scientific information. This role requires a unique blend of business and scientific savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to realize that vision. As Product Manager for Customer Integration, the individual will leverage deep understanding of scientific informatics workflows to solve meaningful problems for our customers ranging from research in drug-discovery to specialty chemicals and materials. This person must be able to effectively understand complex data environments and drivers of activity within a workflow, and steer CAS's API and modular capabilities strategy based on customer needs. This role will provide business leadership through all stages of the product lifecycle and will be responsible for driving alignment across the organization on roadmap development, prioritization and investment decisions. Job Accountabilities: Define robust, scalable digital solutions that enable customers to integrate their own data and environments seamlessly with CAS. Work with Sales and Marketing Support to assist with the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. Serve as the internal and external informatics and workflow subject matter expert, coordinating with multiple product manager peers within the organization. Remain knowledgeable of new trends and needs in the market and integrate the ever-changing business environment into the tactical and strategic plans. Identify ecosystem relevant partnership opportunities and facilitate the creation of partnerships. Strategic Roadmap - Develops strategy to enable seamless customer integration with CAS. Internalizes overall company strategy such that it informs market requirements and feature prioritization. Creates and justifies product strategy, conceives new opportunities for major feature/function enhancements. Market Understanding - Leads focus groups, customer surveys, and user testing to inform product priorities. Monitors key product analytics to inform development priorities. Establishes and leverages effective relationships with customers, thought leaders, and sales. Understands competitive context. Provides direction as to relevant customer segments to target for research. Product Roadmap - Understands market priorities and works with other product managers and technology partners to identify solutions. Develops compelling and actionable product roadmap. Prioritizes and sequences product features and stories to meet market demands. Leads feature and roadmap definition for a specific product area. Delivers prioritized recommendations and business cases. Product Requirements - Documents clear and measurable product requirements, makes data-driven prioritization recommendations, and understands practical trade-offs between implementation and functionality.
