Location: 1990 Harmon Avenue Columbus OH 43223 Duration: At least 1 Years from projected start date Hours/Week: 40.00 Hours/Week Shift Time: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Note: CPR/BLS Certification. Position may either be more administrative or storeroom (inventory) in nature. Job Description: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Answering the phone and taking verbal orders over the phone. Ordering supplies from suppliers and maintaining an inventory of items in storage. Ensuring that proper equipment is available for patient care, such as wheelchairs, crutches, canes, and braces. Identifying and responding to issues with equipment functionality or supply inventory levels. Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Unpack and check supplies upon receipt and reports discrepancies in orders. Perform Cycle Counting as needed. Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. Retrieve requisitions from the Materials Management electronic supply system, fills orders, and delivers to requesting department Pack supplies which need to be returned or sent out. Ensures that return labels are correct. Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient, notifies Purchasing Agent to order more materials when necessary Rotates stock using First In First Out rule to help. Remove, document and package all expired items. Maintain approachable customer service attitude. Issue inventory and maintain records for each PAR location. Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed. Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices. Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases. Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing. Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability. Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS). Analyzing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve issues. Generating purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems. Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor. Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
