The franchised La Quinta by Wyndham location in Columbus , Ohio is seeking a Maintenance (Franchise) to join its team at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus West - Hilliard.

The Role

• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing schematics and technical manuals

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements

• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns promptly and effectively

• Supervise contractors or external service providers when necessary

What you'll do

• Fire inspection record keeping, State and city fire inspections

• Experience with electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and logic controllers

• Pool maintenance, chemical knowledge, record keeping

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to identifying issues and finding solutions

• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate maintenance records

• Excellent customer service skills to address maintenance concerns promptly and professionally

• Proficient in reading manuals

• Accurate record keeping maintenance in rooms (PM'S)

• Safety and security

• Pool Maintenance and maintain logs

• Problems solving, identify issues and finding solutions

• Electronic locks

Required Qualifications/Experience

• High School diploma and or GED

• Mechanical work experience
