WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB: The American Red Cross is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to leverage existing data to help with the development & execution of predictive models. The Junior Data Scientist will work closely with the Sr. Data scientists in preparing data and maintaining data science models. This person will also help apply predictive analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques to generate management insights and optimize business functions. We are seeking candidates with knowledge in statistics, as well as hands-on experience building predictive models. The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast or Central hours.
