Electro-Mechanical Tech II needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client in Columbus, OH This is a second shift position (4pm- 2:30am) Job Description: Training will be conducted on first shift (6am- 4:30pm). Specifically looking for an experienced painter and several other automotive/ mechanical roles. Conducts advanced diagnostic analysis of products using schematics, diagrams, and system knowledge. Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude. Has experience with various vehicles such as autos, trucks, military vehicles, or boats. Above average skills in problem solving and innovation. Works on assembly of products to meet defined schedule. Monitors needs and metrics of assigned areas and recommends and implements improvements. Trains and leads less senior staff in daily activities. Monitors schedules and conducts tasks to maintain schedule. Recommends allocation of resources to meet requirements. Takes direction from more senior staff. Works well with no direct supervision to complete multiple tasks. Education Requirements: High school diploma; 2 years of strong experience in conducting related electrical/mechanical assembly tasks; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field. May require technical degree. Employment Pre-requisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation, and drug urinalysis.
