JPMorgan Chase Vice President, Product Management - Branch Innovation in Columbus, Ohio

As a Product Manager in the Branch Innovations Lab, you will leverage strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication skills to build relationships, drive effective collaboration, and influence stakeholders across multiple cross-functional areas. You will support complex innovation programs with demonstrated success driving efforts across the full product lifecycle from concept through user research and development to launch and performance evaluation. Curiosity, ownership, and accountability are fundamentally critical as our strategic objective for the firm is to safely test into new and emerging technologies and to confidentially assess their potential ability to transform the branch environment.

**Please note that the Branch Innovation Lab is a physical space located in Columbus, Ohio and requires candidates to be co-located. This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Job responsibilities

  • Supports the identification of emerging technologies and trends through market research, insights and knowledge of the field that could impact how we do business and should therefore be explored in the Branch Innovation Lab

  • Creates journey maps and use cases for new technology-driven experiences for customers and bankers

  • Presents the work of the Branch Innovation Lab to partners, stakeholders, and interested parties, clearly explaining the purpose of the work, the problem it seeks to solve, the learning agenda being explored, and actionable next steps to make the work viable at scale within our branches

  • Partners to create journey maps and use cases for new technology-driven experiences for customers and bankers

  • Builds and present compelling business cases to Finance and senior leadership, understanding Chase's broader strategic priorities and how our unique project fits within them

  • Optimizes the end-to-end product delivery pipeline navigating complexity in a highly regulated industry

  • Develops and manages a repeatable process by which external groups can request work from or tours of the Branch Innovation Lab space

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • 5 years of experience in innovation, business strategy, new product development

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

  • Ability to empathize with customers and branch employees developing deep understanding of their experiences, incentives, and constraints

  • Demonstrated capability of a systems-thinking mindset and approach to problem solving, considering physical, mechanical and spatial aspects of an innovation challenge (hardware, space, technology)

  • Creative thinker who can conceive and articulate service experiences that consider both physical and digital interactions

  • Proven experience delivering presentations to audiences of varying levels of seniority

  • Self-motivated and tenacious with high degree of initiative and autonomy; able to work with high degree of independence

  • Ability to influence and partner across business lines / functional areas and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization

  • Ability to influence at all levels, presentations, and 1:1; always with a high attention to detail and excellent follow-through

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Masters degree in business or technical field

  • Ability to articulate thoughtful rationale in decisions and linear progression of work in progress

  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work with autonomy

  • Effective communicator who is able to flex between strategic and tactical items for varying audiences

  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple workstreams with competing deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills capable of delivering clear messaging for both technical and business audiences

  • Coordinate and lead effective meetings and follow-ups
