PeopleReady Skilled Trades now has an office in Columbus and is ready to hire! We need 2-3 skilled & reliable Apprentice Pipefitters for a fire sprinkler installation project in a multi-residential apartment complex on the Northside of Columbus! 

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $26 - $27 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of building codes 

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

• Knowledge of fire suppression piping 

• Own hand tools to cut pipe or knows how to operate a pipe cutting machine

 Qualifications:

• Must have RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS for EMPLOYMENT in the US

• Have 6+ months of experience in the commercial/ residential field

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. repetitively .

• Walk, move, bend, twist, ,stand, and lift for a long periods of time -Own basic hand tools and work boots. We provide PPE

• Have reliable & consistent transportation to and from work

• Must be able to provide verifiable work references at the time of application
