Contracts Manager

Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Contracts Manager to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of proposals

  • Lead all fact finding, audits and negotiations with customers

  • Manage the contractual side of ongoing programs

  • Coordinate with other internal functional disciplines

  • Summarize contractual issues, develop solutions and coordinate contractual risk mitigation

    Minimum Requirements

-Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

  • A strong working knowledge of the FARs/DFARs, USC and other procurement related regulations

  • Strong writing skills required

  • Must be a US Person

  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Background working with prime contractors including developing and negotiating contracts.

    Preferred Requirements

  • BS Degree in business administration, contracts administration or a relevant degree is highly desired.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience working with DCAA and DCMA is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Export Control Regulations (ITAR and EAR) is a plus.

  • Experience supporting proposal work.

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets.

  • NCMA membership and certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) a plus

    Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear proper PPE.

  • Work onsite in Columbus, MS.

    Salary Range (Annualized USD)

  • Minimum Range: $61,000.00 to $108,000.00

  • Maximum Range: $77,000.00 to $138,000.00
