School to Work – Logistics

We are looking for a talented Student for our School to Work – Logistics position to join our team, part time, specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, IN.

*15-19 hours per week for 18 weeks starting in early June.

*Hybrid with 2-3 days on site with flexible hours.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

This position works on the processing of documentation for the export and import clearance of Cummins Engines.

This role collaborates with Freight Forwarders, Cummins sites and Banks on the processing of export documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in team-oriented environments.

• Proficient in the use of Office Suite tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

• Detail and process oriented.

Education, Licenses, Certification

• Must be at least a junior in high school and 16 years of age. (*Only current High School or Post Secondary students are eligible for this position)
