Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Responsible for performing both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on equipment. Mechanical troubleshooting includes hydraulics, ball screw replacement, gear boxes, and rebuilding gear boxes. Electrical troubleshooting experience would include being able to read a multimeter, troubleshoot contacts, relays, proximity switches, and photo eyes. Candidates will also troubleshoot 3 Phase motors up to 480V and will be responsible for the wiring and rebuild of any motor utilized in the plant. When not performing a repair, candidates are responsible for performing preventative maintenance or training themselves on troubleshooting robotics with the tools provided by the company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting including hydraulics, ball screw replacement, gear boxes, and rebuilding gear boxes.

  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter, and troubleshoot contacts, relays, proximity switches, and photo eyes.

  • Troubleshoot 3 Phase motors up to 480V and handle the wiring and rebuild of motors used in the plant.

  • Perform preventative maintenance when not engaged in repairs.

  • Train on troubleshooting robotics with company-provided tools.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience or heavy equipment experience.

  • 1+ year of electrical troubleshooting experience on 3 Phase Motors 480V, Proximity Switches, contacts, relays, and other motors.

  • 1+ year of hydraulic troubleshooting experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PLC's/ladder logic or ability to read inputs/outputs is a plus.

Pay

$25-30/HR+ (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)

Work Environment

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, M,T on, W, Thurs off, Fri, Sat, Sun on; and shift rotates the following week; train on 1st. Training can last anywhere between 3-9 months. The automotive manufacturing plant is non-temperature controlled and can get extremely hot in the summer. It is a fast-paced work environment with highly monitored pace.
