Cummins Inc. HR Functional Learning & Development Manager in Columbus, Indiana

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented HR Functional Learning & Development Manager to join our team specializing in human resources for our corporate business in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

· Coordinate the creation of functional maturity goals in collaboration with business leaders, other functional leaders, and end-to-end process owners.

· Identify and manage the functional excellence strategy and roadmap to achieve functional maturity goals.

· Manage performance metrics that contribute to the performance goals of one or more internal value chains or end-to-end processes.

· Coordinate enterprise-level governance of functional processes, systems, and data within the overall end-to-end framework.

· Support functional talent activities, including the composition of global position profiles, functional competencies, and learning and development needs.

· Contribute to the development of a functional learning strategy, incorporating experiential learning, networking, professional associations, and formal training courses.

· Utilize business knowledge and experience to identify growth opportunities for the function to improve customer outcomes.

· Maintain operational knowledge of functionally relevant practices, analytics, governance, and quality, ensuring support for customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Strong experience leading strategic and change efforts within a function or business unit.

  • Ability to make and drive connections across relevant work streams.

  • Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work comfortably amidst ambiguity.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

· College, university, or equivalent degree required.

· Significant relevant experience required, including managerial experience.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in a learning and development role.

  • Knowledge of different learning models and experience applying them.

  • Experience developing and executing a strategic learning roadmap for a large organization.

  • Brings the outside in to consider the best solution for an organization based on their assessed needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

Base salary range: $114,400 - $171,600

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
