Job Title: Field Technician (Steam Turbine)

Job Description

Join our team as a Field Technician, specializing in steam turbine technology. You will be primarily stationed in Summerville, SC, with responsibilities extending to various assignments outside of this location. Your role will involve traveling to different sites such as fueling stations, power plants, refineries, water treatment facilities, and renewable energy sites to repair, troubleshoot, and service equipment. Embrace the challenge of supporting subcontract work for the construction of turbines for aircraft carriers supplied to the US Navy.

Hard Skills

• Experience in steam turbine technology

• Ability to repair, troubleshoot and service complex machinery

• Proficiency in inspection, repair, and overhaul of steam turbines, reciprocating and integral engines, centrifugal and screw compressors, and trip and throttle valves

Soft Skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Summerville, South Carolina.

Work Environment

Traveling to different job sites working for our customer. You will be part of a nationally recognized General Contractor with a focused knowledge and working experience in the mechanical fueling industry. The areas of construction focus primarily on hydrocarbon products including crude oil, ethanol, LPG, NGL, condensate, jet fuel, diesel and gasoline.
