Job Summary：

The Senior Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating outbound shipment activities such as carrier pick up, BOL generation, shipment transactions and some load planning focused on dry van. They ensure all necessary documents are available for the carrier and maintained for retention purposes. They help track and provide information on shipments to both internal and external parties. The Senior Logistics Coordinator assists in shipping and delivery issues between carrier and customer. They will help review and ensure loads are planned to help best service the customer.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure all shipping paperwork is complete – BOL, packing lists, customs documents

· Build and Plan finished good loads for customer needs and build schedules

· Work with carriers to ensure trucks are available and meet daily schedules

· Create/Maintain standard work on shipping processes and rate estimates

· Back-up Logistics Planners as needed

· Ship confirms loads in a timely manner to ensure revenue is recorded appropriately

· Assist with inventory control activities

· Perform other logistics duties assigned
