Job Description:

Robert Half is ready to amplify its recruitment and candidate placement services for a reputable organization in Columbia, SC. We are searching for an adept Accounts Payable Clerk who will bring a commitment to accuracy and efficiency to our client's well-established team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounts payable activities such as recording, verifying, and paying invoices.

• Coordinate with suppliers and respond to inquiries regarding invoice discrepancies.

• Assist the finance department in monthly and yearly closings.

• Participate in compliance audits and implement improvements as necessary.

• Maintain digital and physical financial records.

  Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable positions.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities with solid attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
