The HR Generalist plays a critical role in ASCs Human Resource Department in Columbia PA. The candidate needs to be a versatile forward thinking HR professional, that has a passion for recruiting and can develop strong employee relations engagement. How Will You Help? * Provides a visible HR presence to enable / facilitate real time employee relations, engagement and solutions. * Contribute to the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. career development, performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, union relations, benefits etc.) * Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness * Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. * Serve as subject matter expert on majority of HR disciplines - a true generalist * Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management. * Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies and identify future staffing needs. * Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions. What Will You Have? * Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field * 3-5 years Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field * Experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding * 3+ years experience recruiting hourly roles. * Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook) * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities * PHR or SPHR certification preferred Summary of Company Benefits Here - https://www.asc-es.com/careers Location(s): Columbia, PA-112
