The HR Generalist plays a critical role in ASCs Human Resource Department in Columbia PA. The candidate needs to be a versatile forward thinking HR professional, that has a passion for recruiting and can develop strong employee relations engagement. How Will You Help? * Provides a visible HR presence to enable / facilitate real time employee relations, engagement and solutions. * Contribute to the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. career development, performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, union relations, benefits etc.) * Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness * Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. * Serve as subject matter expert on majority of HR disciplines - a true generalist * Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management. * Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies and identify future staffing needs. * Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
