Job Title: Software Engineer

Our client, a rapidly expanding health technology company, is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Software Lead to spearhead the development of innovative healthcare solutions. This role requires a versatile leader who can manage the technical aspects of development, mentor a team of engineers, and contribute directly to the software codebase. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities, with the ambition to eventually grow into the Chief Technology Officer role. As the Software Lead, you will oversee the development and scaling of core products, including Connect, Care, and our flagship device MouthLab. These products provide real-time patient monitoring and comprehensive chronic disease management solutions for healthcare providers and nursing facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to drive the development of scalable and high-quality software products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related

technical field.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.

• Expertise in front-end technologies like ReactJS, Redux, HTML, CSS, and modern

JavaScript frameworks.

• Strong back-end skills in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

• Experience working with AWS Cloud Technologies (EC2, Lambda, EBS, S3) to build

scalable cloud infrastructure.

• Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines, continuous testing, and ensuring site

reliability.

• A passion for coding and developing innovative solutions for real-world problems, with a

willingness to actively code while managing.

Preferred Experience:

• Mobile Application Development: Experience with React Native, iOS, and Android to

support the development of Aidar’s mobile platforms.

• Experience with healthcare platforms and EMR integration (e.g., PointClickCare,

MatrixCare).

• Understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, particularly their applications in

healthcare analytics.

• Proven leadership experience in managing software teams, ideally in a fast-growing or startup

environment.

• Regulatory experience in developing FDA-approved medical device software is a plus.
