Serco SETA Systems Engineer: TS/SCI and POLY Required in Columbia, Maryland

Position Description

Serco is seeking a SETA Systems Engineer to join our team! The day-to-day job exposes all aspects of system design from chip design to parallel programming developments modes while also requiring a solid understanding of program management and budget. This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.

In this role, you will:

  • Experience analyzing user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.

  • Experience analyzing system requirements and leads design and development activities.

  • Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.

  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.

  • Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.

  • Develops technical documentation.

  • Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.

  • Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.

  • Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.

  • Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Sysems Engineering area of responsibility.

  • Communicates with other personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives.

  • Exposure/experience working within an HPC environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

  • May substitute 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience in technical program management and/or system development.

  • At least 50% of experience shall be related to SIGINT, Communications Systems, or Information Technology.

  • 5 years experience as a system engineer in programs that encompassed systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition to operations.

  • 5 years experience of system engineering in an intelligence community environment.
