Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for recording up-to-date patient information and medical history, including medication lists in the EMR system. Duties also include performing patient vitals, room and inventory set-up, sterilizing reusable instruments, running and verifying lab work, and helping answer phones when needed. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple specialty physicians. Additional responsibilities include general MA administrative work.

Hard Skills

  • NHA Certified Medical Assistant Required

  • EPIC experience preferred

  • Triage

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Columbia, Maryland.

Work Environment

Working in a fast-paced immediate care setting, seeing upwards of 20 patients per day, and collaborating with other MAs and front desk staff

Schedule:

Monday: 7:45am-4:30pm

Tuesday: 7:45am-4:30pm

Wednesday: 11:30am-8:00pm

Thursday: 7:45am-4:30pm

Friday: 7:45a-4:30pm

4th Sunday of the month: 7:30am - close
