The Accountant position is a temporary role for a minimum of 3 months and is responsible for preparing various analyses and reports, and providing other general accounting services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares and records weekly payroll for all divisions

• Prepares monthly accounting journal entries

• Records monthly regional journal entries

• Performs financial statement review and trend analysis for corporate departments

• Prepares general ledger balance sheet account reconciliations and work papers

• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• BS/BA in Accounting/Finance or Certificate in Accounting preferred

• Minimum of 4 years of pertinent accounting experience - hands on general ledger experience highly desirable

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and well organized

• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as a part of a team

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) applications

• Great Plains experience a preferred

• Payroll experience a preferred
