Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the development of critical applications, while working with a team of developers. This role will design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing applications. Additionally, this role will build these applications with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions. The individual will use groundbreaking technologies and enterprise grade integration software daily and will be relied upon to help take the team to the next level from a technological standpoint.
Leads the design, development, and planning for solutions and technology standards to solve complex business problems
Hands-on development, Support and solve software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions
Ensures that systems are properly integrated
Works with business, support, or development teams recommending system enhancements
Consults across multiple United Information Technology projects and technology areas to perform troubleshooting, problem management, root-cause analysis, and solution implementation
Serves as a resource for technology/project development review and technical assessments
Ensures that the technical solutions meet the customers’ business goals
Provide consultation and technical leadership in project life cycle planning
Ensures consistency and coherence to the enterprise standards and guiding principles throughout the application lifecycle
Finds opportunities to leverage/influence the direction for existing infrastructure and application components
Keeps abreast of industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional associations etc. in order to advise others of strategic technology direction
Provides feedback to the enterprise technology owners and Architects regarding future solution needs
Understands and applies the enterprise vision and strategy to the project solution while balancing tactical needs to deliver
Partner with various business and IT collaborators in defining domain architecture strategy
Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of application architecture and architecture constructs as it connects to the enterprise architecture
Demonstrate mastery of the application of development domain areas and multiple technologies and tool set
Demonstrate mastery of software engineer
Manages and participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
Serve as technical expert on development projects. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
Support, maintain, and document software functionality
Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
Managers and participates in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
Collaborate with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree, and or equivalent relevant work experience
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field
5+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use
5+ years of experience on relational database design and development
5+ years of experience with Software Development Languages & Tools, C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF, MS Visual Studio, MS TFS, GitHub
Strong knowledge of Microsoft and or Java
Java, Spring, Spring Boot
NET Framework, Microsoft NET Core, SQL, NoSQL and Design Patterns
Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented systems design and Application Development
Exceptional at coding and on time delivery of quality components and or applications
Exceptional at component and unit testing of following standard practices and methodologies
Exceptional applying the technologies and domain knowledge with the delivery of developed components or integrated components
Exceptional at working problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of a variety of factors
Exceptional at triage or analysis of situations for production support
Excel with on time delivery with minimal supervision
Effective verbal and written communicator
Effective participant of requirements gathering, requirements analysis
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Airline System development is a PLUS
Understanding of core AWS services - Security, Compute, Container, Serverless, Database, Storage, CI/CD
Understanding of basic AWS architecture standard processes
Experience of developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS
Experience of AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs
Experience of using AWS CI/CD services to deploy application
Experience of DataDog integration for application in AWS
Experience with frontend and backend development
Experience with iOS & Android, hybrid mobile web technologies
