Responsibilities

Positions Available: Software Architect Software Engineer Senior Test & Evaluation Engineer Principal Software Engineer Principal Software Systems Engineer Chief Software Architect Chief Software Engineer Responsibilities: Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs application software. Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs. Ensures software standards are met. Develops technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness. Participates with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Plans R&D programs and recommends technological application programs to accomplish long-range objectives. Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts, contributing to the development of new principles and concepts. Recommends/makes decisions on administrative or project work matters to ensure effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives. Performs technical planning, high-level and detailed requirements definition, test planning and execution, software systems integration, and technical support for software systems and subsystems. The total software system product may include concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Guides the successful completion of major programs. Acts as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.

Education/Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess an Active security clearance (Top Secret or TS/SCI), and be located in or willing to relocate to either Colorado Springs, CO, or El Segundo, CA. 8 + years of experience working in at least one of the following roles: Software Architect Software Engineer Senior Test & Evaluation Engineer Principal Software Engineer Principal Software Systems Engineer Chief Software Architect Chief Software En ineer 8+ years of progressive software engineering and architectural design experience for large-scale enterprise software engineering projects. 8+ years of experience in a commercial software development company
