A recurring client of Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our Accounting department, maintaining accounting policies, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and assisting internal auditing. The ideal candidate would bring big 4 experience along with hands-on use of Great Plains/Dynamics or Sage software. The role would be onsite, but offers flexibility in schedule and strong employee perks. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for upkeep, rectification and management of the general ledger.

• Facilitate accurate, timely month-end closing process.

• Assist with external audits including preparation, coordination, and response to audit requests.

• Ability to assess and improve financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide support for budget and forecasting procedures, job costing, analyzing financial reports and ensuring legal compliance.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a must have.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in auditing or accounting, preferably with big 4 experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Great Plains/Dynamics or Sage software.

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Demonstrated proficiency in handling and updating General Ledgers.

• Experience with Financial Statement preparation.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work outputs.
