About Us: Peoples and Peoples Consulting is a dedicated provider of janitorial services, committed to delivering excellence in all our projects. We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Working Project Manager to join our team for a Veterans Affairs contract. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our services and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Job Summary: The Working Project Manager will be responsible for managing janitorial operations, stepping in to cover shifts as needed, and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. This role involves direct supervision of employees, preparation of work schedules, and management of supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong leadership skills, and be experienced in using computer software for reporting and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities: Fill in for employees when there are call-outs, ensuring uninterrupted service. Assist with janitorial duties as required to meet project demands. Prepare and manage checklists for employees to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Conduct employee evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Develop and manage training programs for all janitorial staff. Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency. Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and cleaning equipment within the facility. Ensure employees adhere to the scope of work and meet all job requirements. Maintain records and prepare reports using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant software. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, specifically OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the janitorial or facility services industry. High School Diploma or GED Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. OSHA 10 certification required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
