The L2 Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the quality of Aramark?s products and services meet or exceed the client, and customer, expectations. This opportunity will focus on developing team members, identifying ways to increase the quality of customer service, implementing best practices across all levels, maintaining a clean and productive workspace, and ensuring all stockrooms, retail/F&B spaces are fully stocked.

Compensation Data

The salary range for this position ranges from $80K to $90K depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if applicable to the position). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting. If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.

  • Improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices.

  • Helping the organization?s processes remain legally compliant.

  • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.

  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives.

  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.

  • Manage budgets and forecasts.

  • Perform quality controls and monitor production.

  • Recruit, train and supervise staff.

  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service.

  • Maintain and follow all wage & hour compliance for local, and foreign, employees.

  • Coordinate payroll functions and check distribution.

  • Assist leadership on special projects.

  • Develops and maintains client relationships to grow base business and improve retention of account base.

  • Accountable for business reviews and key interactions with key clients within the local market.

  • Reviews and analyzes business performance using data plans and recommends decisions/approaches to address key operational opportunities and levers, including route sales growth optimization, pricing actions, product inventory, waste reduction, and labor costs, which would positively impact the business.

  • Owns and fosters effective communication at all levels of the organization.

  • Ensures daily operations are maintained as scheduled.

Qualifications

  • At least five years? experience in operations management or in a related field.

  • Requires a degree in Business, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.

  • Experience budgeting and forecasting.

  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.

  • Leadership ability.

  • Outstanding organizational skills.

  • Previous experience in merchandising or retail industry is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.

  • Experience with merchandising software systems is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Self-motivated and positive.

  • Candidates must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Schedule ? 60+ during the summer season, 40+ during the winter season.

  • Must obtain ServSafe Managers Certificate within 45 days of employment.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This position requires flexibility, you may be asked to work outside of your normal work schedule if extenuating circumstances prevail.
