Maytag Aircraft Corporation is expanding our global support to Refueling Services for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV). For the past fifty years Maytag is dedicated to supporting conventional surface and air vehicles. The expansion of our services to UAV/UGV provides our customers with a proven reputable Service Company to support the increasing demand for Surface and Air Unmanned Vehicles.

    Job Description

Position: Office Administrator

Reports to: Controller

FLSA: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Supports the organization's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, commitment to our customers, and accountability and ownership. Under supervision performs general office work of moderate difficulty. Serves as the eyes and ears of the office, providing information, answering questions and responding to requests.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Coordinates office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

• Provides assistance to the President and CEO along with different departments including Accounting, Accounts Payable, Business Development and Human Resources.

• Hospitality services include coordination and upkeep of conference rooms, storage rooms, common areas and kitchen. Keeps stock of office and kitchen supplies and places orders when necessary.

• Maintains contacts with office equipment vendors, ensuring all equipment is operable.

• Directs facility vendors and coordinates building and grounds maintenance services.

• Performs the necessary general office duties and sees to all errands.

• Assists in coordinating events.

• Handles all incoming calls and other communications.

• Mail services, including metering, sorting, and distributing mail and packages, in-house and with outside Mail Center.

• Compiles reports and summaries, checks and completes records, forms and spreadsheets.

• Processes documents to update and maintain contract files and records.

• Researches records and disburses information.

• Processes and distributes confidential and sensitive documents.

• Establishes and maintains complex filing systems.

• Composes, formats and types routine correspondence, reports and other documents.

• Coordinate calendars, schedules, meetings, training, and travel arrangements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Work requires knowledge of business operations and an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.

• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.

• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.

• Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.

• Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Three to Five years of relevant experience in an office environment, preferably in an administrative role.

High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred.

Exceptional organization skills: oral and written communications skills to include strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service in a high energy work environment.

Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to move 20 or more pounds, bend, stretch, sit, and stand for extended periods.
