Salary Conversion: $138,000 to $145,000. This is non-negotiable!

Responsible for the operation and supervision of the Project Management Office (PMO) Project practice for the Digital, Strategy, and Technology (DST) Department. Manages the full lifecycle of information technology projects or programs, including leading the project team, requirements gathering, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, closing, and customer service handover while acting as the primary interface to the Project Sponsor and/or Project Steering Committee

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Advanced knowledge and application of standard project management processes and best practices for Waterfall and/or Agile approaches. They do not want a scrum master. They need somone who is flexible in methadologies as they are not an agile shop.

• Must have strong organizational skills and possess high attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write and produce clear and concise written reports with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to present information in a professional, formal setting.

• High level of knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate policies and procedures to staff.

• Ability to lead, manage, and train others; ability to objectively review, evaluate, and document the performance of employees.

• Ability to successfully interact and sustain working relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and technical team members. Ability to provide excellent customer service.

• Ability to manage project stakeholders with respect, tact, and diplomacy.

• Ability to successfully complete verifying complex projects that vary in size.

• Ability to take initiative, lead others, and drive toward organizational goals; ability to work independently and in a team environment.
