Finish Hand (Heavy Equipment Operator)

Pay Rate: $25-30 per hour

Travel Requirement: Must be willing to travel and follow the work

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Finish Hand (Heavy Equipment Operator) to join our team in El Paso County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to complete finishing tasks on construction sites. This role requires extensive travel to various job sites, following the work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and excavators to perform finishing tasks.

• Ensure precise grading and finishing of surfaces according to project specifications.

• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to achieve project goals.

• Travel to various job sites as required, with the ability to stay on location for extended periods.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Finish Hand or Heavy Equipment Operator.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs.

• Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

• Willingness to travel extensively and follow the work to different locations.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
