Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for a senior technical lead full-stack developer to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities: As a senior technical lead full-stack developer with MTSI, your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates the integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USS

Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently Oversee efforts of less senior staff and responsible for efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job Ensure consistent submission of high-quality products to the Government Communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy-oral and written Demonstrated working knowledge & experience in the following Areas: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Linux, Suricata, Zeke, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Artifactory, Gi Lab, network engineering, AWS Cloud. Qualifications

Required skills: Relevant experience performing engineering activities in the Government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit or non-profit Government support, or development contractor arena Experience in programming languages (at least 2): React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, & Material UI A minimum of four years of experience in full stack development with complex cyber security in classified environments Experience leading complex cyber security software development and deployment activities in classified environments.
