We are looking to place a mid-level Engineering Technician to provide support for Peterson Space Force Base (SFB) in Colorado. JOB DESCRIPTION: * Assist with executing 21 Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) in-house Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FSRM) projects. * Perform all required Preventative Maintenance Task List (PMTL) data entry for assigned projects. * Develop Task Order requirements and acquisition package components for government use. * Coordinate with customers, facility managers, and other governmental personnel to define project requirements; maintain compliance with Federal, state, local, and Air/Space Force regulations; prepare Statements of Work (SOWs); develop cost estimates; and assist with other components of the acquisition package for government approval and submiss JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineering technician or electrical engineering technician. * Experience in DoD project programming and developing programming documents (e.g., DD Forms 1391). * Experience with and comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques in order to support complex engineering assignments relating to civil engineering disciplines. * Experience gathering data to solve complex technical problems and ability to follow established project-related procedures and complete established project milestones. * Experience with the NEXGEN IT system, PMTL, and Sustainment Management System (SMS) tools (e.g., BUILDER). * Knowledge of Federal, state, and/or local regulations and statutes, as well as Air Force or DoD regulations and documentation is preferred. * Ability to obtain a favorable Tier 1 clearance required for a Common Access Card (CAC). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
