Counter Threat Finance Data Integrator

We seek exceptional professionals from the Counter Threat Finance (CTF) and Threat Finance Intelligence (T.F.I.) communities to join our team as a Counter Threat Finance Data Integrator.

As a Counter Threat Finance Data Integrator, you will provide CTF/TFI data integration support to P.G.I. and our U.S. Government clients. The focus of your efforts includes adversary financial networks that fuel violent extremist organizations operating in assigned regions across the globe. This position reports to the Program Manager.

The Counter Threat Finance Data Integrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop automated approaches that save analysts' time and effort and assist in the discovery of capabilities and datasets.

  • Provide expertise for integrating and implementing new analytic capabilities and/or datasets.

  • Develop analytical approaches to problems for which data is incomplete, controversial, or for which no precedent exists.

  • Employ exploratory analysis and rapid iteration techniques to comb through large volumes of data to quickly derive solutions to intelligence problems.

  • Develop solutions to extract data from various sources, normalize data (deal with imperfections including missing values and inconsistent formatting), analyze data (develop means to recognize correlations), and visualize data (effective ways for communicating information).

  • Vet methodologies for evaluating analysis developed using data analysis techniques.

  • Translate complex technical findings into easily understood graphical, written, visual, and verbal narratives that provide insight into trends associated with existing data sources and how to leverage other new data sources.

  • Contribute to aligning processes and technology to facilitate effective information sharing among analysts and organizations. Utilizes centralized and peripheral databases, content management systems, records management systems, and workflow shaping.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Two years or greater experience with:

  • Data integration, data warehousing, big-data-related initiatives;

  • DoD domain architecture and data integration tools;

  • Relational and Analytical Database concepts;

  • Making data consumable for a variety of purposes such as visualizations, analytics, and other related data science activities;

  • Working through IT policies and procedures to use programming software, such as Jupyter Notebooks, Microsoft VS Code, or other integrated development environments (IDE);

  • The following programming languages: Python and JavaScript; and

  • Process automation especially with Jupyter Notebooks or similar tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and integrate data from structured and unstructured data sources;

  • Knowledge of the Intelligence or Law Enforcement Community;

  • Advanced Excel capabilities;

  • Knowledge about various architectures, patterns and protocols that contribute to event-driven architecture, real-time data flows, nonrelational repositories, data virtualization, cloud environments, activities-based intelligence (ABI), etc.; and

  • Ability to use analytical techniques such as critical and conceptual thinking to objectively analyze situations.

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License

  • Candidates must provide DD-214 (Member 4 or Service 2) covering all active service periods.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Possess and maintain an active TS/SCI Security Clearance for the duration of this effort and

  • Be willing to sit for a CI Polygraph if required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass initial and annual drug tests.

  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds

  • Able to walk throughout the job site to meet with employees

  • And able to use standard office equipment including computer and copier
