Job Title: Anti-Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Anti-Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer with a strong experience in system design, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field from an accredited college, coupled with 10 years of professional experience or 12 years with a related master's degree. A 8570 IAT - Level III (CISSP or equivalent) certification is required.
Hard Skills
Substantial understanding of system design and development
Service Oriented Architecture development principles and implementation
Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Designing and implementing Anti-Tamper (AT) and/or Defense Exportability Features (DEF) solutions
Engineering complex systems
Factoring confidentiality, integrity, and availability considerations in all phases of the system development lifecycle
Decomposing requirements to support hardware components' implementation, verification, and validation testing
Generating detailed, repeatable, automated test procedures
Extracting data to support analysis requirements
Generating procedures that test functionality
Applying Agile and Lean Product Development principles
Experience with Git, JIRA, Confluence, and other open-source development tools
Understanding of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS)
Soft Skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team of high-performing individuals
Ability to analyze high-level needs and refine them into an evolving minimum viable product (MVP)
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Ability to clearly present technical approaches and findings
Proven interaction in a team environment
Experience engineering automation pipelines
Understanding anti-tampering and exportability concerns
Applying secure hardware/software methodologies

This is a contract position with a duration of 5 Year(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Work Environment
The position involves coordinating with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) leadership on updates and changes to systems, performing risk and threat management assessments, and developing and maintaining various plans related to Anti-Tamper and program protection. The role requires interaction with customers, supporting program milestone reviews, and keeping higher level management informed on major accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
