Summary Description: This full time position provides support to the Director, Deputy Director and to the FAC as a whole. This position is often the first point of contact for members of the community and will set the positive, welcoming culture of each interaction. This position is designed to serve wherever the need is greatest; the person holding this position must be ready for anything; "other duties as assigned" will be commonplace in this role.

Anticipated Salary Range: $19.25 to $23.88 per hour

Responsibilities:

Serve as executive assistant for the FAC Director's office; field requests and assist the Director's office with internal staff requests as well as external patron, donor, and community requests. Help organize logistics of the Director's office and the FAC as a whole including meeting arrangements, mail distribution, meal delivery, and facility work orders. Work with the Deputy Director to establish weekly priorities and where assistance is needed most; be prepared to learn new systems in different departments to best support all departments. Conduct research and create institutional documentation for the Director's office with updated content on the FAC in preparation for presentations and director appearances. Manage internal communications in partnership with the Communications team and the Deputy Director. Participate in the distribution of a weekly information document to all staff. Provide operational and administrative support across the FAC for events and public programs. Work some weekend and evening events as requested. Onboard new staff following procedure developed with the Deputy Director and in partnership with Colorado College HR department. Manage staff appreciation events in collaboration with other members of the team. As time allows, digitize video, photo and hard copy assets and work with members of CC and the FAC to create a searchable database of images and other assets. Maintain supplies FAC-wide including office supplies, staff lounge supplies, and other cross-departmental supplies as requested.

Additional Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

Some college/Associate's degree, and/or specialized accounting/administrative training, plus a minimum of four years of related experience; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF/Adobe, excellent organizational skills and oral and written communication skills; proficient in accounting processes, ability to think critically and solve problems; good judgment and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion; ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and manage multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast-paced and challenging office environment; exceptional customer service skills; ability to operate sta dard office equipment. Must be available for some evening and weekend hours to support specific programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (business administration and/or arts administration focus) or certification.
