Robert Half is partnering with a progressive organization actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist proficient in high volume invoicing and Sage software. The selected candidate will have a key role in controlling expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices accurately and timely.

Responsibilities:

• Processing incoming invoices in alignment with company policy and procedures.

• Effectively managing a high volume of invoices.

• Maintaining the Sage software system for accurate accounts payable processing.

• Reconciling discrepancies in invoices and updating vendor files.

• Contributing to monthly and annual closure of accounts payable records.

• Assisting with improving processes for more efficient workflow.

• Communicating with vendors to address queries and build solid relationships.

  Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Mastery of high volume invoice processing.

• Proficiency in using Sage software for managing accounts payable.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

• Stellar communication and customer service skills.

• The ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume Accounts Payable role.
