Kuehne+Nagel Customer Relationship Manager in Colnbrook, United Kingdom

We are looking for a Customer Relationship Manager to strengthen our team!

Your Role

As a part of the business development activity, you are responsible for managing customer relationships and needs proactively, on a day-to-day basis. It is expected to be process oriented, pay close attention to detail and have analytical and strategic thinking skills. You are also responsible for the customers assigned to them and the consequences thereof including failure to support, for which corrective measures should be taken according to prevailing procedures to avoid recurrence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence for assigned accounts.

  • Monitor and improve service delivery on all escalation.

  • Maintain and foster strong long-term relationships with key customers.

  • Identify new opportunities to increase business footprint with key accounts.

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the Business Development group.

  • Maintain open channels of communication between Sales, Operations, and Quality Assurance.

  • Collaborate with Business Development to propose customer-specific expectations.

  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Customer Operating Procedures (COP), up- to -date.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management or a similar role.

  • Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.

  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
