Description We are offering a role based in COLLINSVILLE, Illinois in the Construction/Contractor industry. The position involves working as a Payroll Specialist, focusing on various accounting software systems. This position provides an opportunity for short-term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, Kronos Timekeeping System for day-to-day functions.

• Administer 401k - RRSP Administration and manage About Time accounting functions.

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Handle Payroll - Union, Multi-state Payroll, Multistate Payroll, Payroll - Garnishments.

• Conduct payroll functions for various employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.

• Utilize the Payroll - Manual system for payroll processing and management.

• Oversee Payroll for over 500 employees ensuring accurate and timely payments.

• Handle all aspects of Payroll Functions, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure all payroll related tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Continuously improve payroll processing procedures to speed process and reduce errors. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Ceridian and IBM AS/400

• Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping System

• Ability to administer 401k - RRSP Administration

• Experience with 'About Time' software

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Payroll - Union procedures

• Experience in managing Multi-state Payroll or Multistate Payroll

• Knowledge of Payroll - Garnishments procedures

• Proficiency in Payroll processing with manual methods

• Experience in managing Payroll for over 500 Employees

• Comprehensive understanding of Payroll Functions
