Aerotek is hiring an Injection Molding Process Technician for a manufacturing facility in Collierville, TN. This position is 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am) on 2-2-3 schedule. 6 month contract to hire

Job Description

Supports the manufacturing operations by safely setting up and processing injection molding machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and process injection molding machines safely

• Perform changeovers on the machines and routine preventive maintenance

• Read and understand part prints and drawings

• Use measuring devices such as calipers and height gauges

• Set and start up tooling in injection machines

• Load correct processes and make adjustments as needed

• Perform general maintenance on injection molding and tooling

• Fill out changeover check sheets and other applicable paperwork

• Communicate and assist quality control in solving root cause problems

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years of injection molding experience

• Understanding of molding equipment, including dryers and blenders

• Ability to read and understand parts prints and drawings

• Experience with measuring devices such as calipers and height gauges

• Preferred experience with calipers, electrical meters, pressure reading devices, and temperature gauges.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
