Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the healthcare industry, located in College Station, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including processing invoices, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring proper GL coding. This role is a contract position that offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices for payment efficiently and accurately.

• Assist with the management of inventory within the Accounting system.

• Ensure proper GL (General Ledger) coding for all transactions.

• Maintain organized records by sorting and filing documents systematically.

• Review financial information for accuracy, ensuring all accounts are up-to-date.

• Handle the scanning and filing of invoices, ensuring all documents are easily accessible.

• Utilize Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to manage and maintain financial records.

• Apply skills in asset inventory management to assist with accounting functions.

• Handle code invoices and enter invoices accurately into the system.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Practical experience in asset inventory management

• Proficiency in scanning and digitizing documents

• Ability to code and enter invoices accurately and efficiently

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Familiarity with standard office software, like Microsoft Office Suite.
