We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry, located in Post Falls, Idaho. This role entails overseeing financial activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient operations. The selected candidate will be instrumental in managing financial duties, reviewing customer contracts, and preparing accounts receivable invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee general financial duties including bank deposits, wire transfers, managing operating line of credit, and reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts

• Prepare monthly financial reports to provide a comprehensive understanding of the financial status

• Handle production administration by reviewing customer contracts and decoding insurance and billing requirements

• Maintain a strong understanding of sales/use/nexus tax reporting for multi-state operations and set up jobs according to governing parameters

• Procure prelien information and prepare timely filings to ensure compliance with regulations

• Prepare monthly accounts receivable invoices including schedule of values, lien releases, and other customer documentation

• Manage the collection of accounts receivable to maintain a healthy cash flow

• Prepare data for insurance policies (General Liability, Property, Auto, Umbrella, Health, Dental, and Vision) and respond to audits

• Provide data to CPA for the preparation of tax documents and returns

• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset detail to produce annual reports

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient operations

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, and perform auditing tasks

• Contribute to budget processes to ensure financial health of the organization.

SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $95,000

  Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position

• Demonstrated experience with Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is a must

• Must have experience managing Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is necessary

• Previous experience in Auditing is a significant advantage

• Must be competent in managing Budget Processes

• Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong communication and leadership skills are required

• Must be detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required

• CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
