Pay: The starting pay is $26-$35 per hour based on interview/experience.

Shift: This is a first shift (5 day work week 5am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. Equates to 10+ hours of overtime weekly).

Job Description:

• Perform Flux Core Welding in compliance with shop drawings/blueprints.

• Operate welding equipment, including FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding).

• Perform quality checks on welds and make necessary corrections

• Responsible for using overhead cranes and forklifts to handle materials

• Inspect and maintain welding equipment

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of welding experience in a heavy industrial setting required.

• Proficiency in Flux Core Welding and the ability to pass the AWS D1.1 3G weld test using FCAW.

• Familiarity with multiple welding processes (GMAW, SMAW, GTAW) is a plus.

• Experience in an AISC-certified shop environment is highly preferred.

• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical or trade school certifications are a plus.

This will be a 3-4 month contract position with the possibility of extending longer and opportunity for permanent employment after the period of time.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
