Robert Half Plant Controller in Clyde, Ohio

Description We are seeking a Plant Controller for our operations in Clyde, Ohio. This role involves a variety of tasks, including monitoring accounting functions, managing annual budgets, and overseeing standard cost accounting. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes and be proficient with SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards

• Develop, implement, and manage the annual budget to align with the company's financial goals

• Utilize SAP to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency

• Maintain the standard cost accounting system, ensuring it accurately reflects the costs of production

• Analyze budget processes and recommend improvements as necessary

• Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to predict future financial performance

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transparency and consistency across the organization

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Plant Controller

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Proven experience with Annual Budget creation and management

• Familiarity with Budget Processes within a manufacturing or similar industry

• Proficient understanding of Standard Cost Accounting

• Experience with SAP software is essential

• Strong skills in Budgeting and Forecasting are required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
