We are looking for a Division Resource Manager. This role is responsible for the management of inventory and coordination of inventory movement within and between jobs and divisions. Supervise yard and driver team members to insure orderly control of inventory and safe operation of yard functions.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize utilization for all yards in Division.

  • Coordinates inter and intra company inventory movement for meeting customer requirements: contacting other divisions for material availability, arranging shipment, and documenting status on a timely basis.

  • Coordinate Cycle Count activities for all inventory yards in Division. Responsible for maintaining 98% inventory accuracy for all yards in Division.

  • Maintains “rent-ready” inventory by inspecting inventory and scheduling major repairs, coordinate minor repairs, or scrapping inventory.

  • Recording of shipment and return data input daily to Rental/Labor Billing system.

  • Coordinate fleet scheduling, maintenance, and repairs to Company vehicles.

  • Supervise yard personnel in counting inventory, completing pick and return lists, actual picking of inventory, loading and unloading trucks, inspecting equipment for suitability of use.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized yard: locating inventory and equipment in a logical manner to minimize loading time, storing equipment in proper racks and cover, insuring proper and safe use of material handling equipment and removing debris and obstacles.

  • This position supervises 3-8+ drivers, yard foremen and yard laborers depending upon the size of the Division.

Qualifications

  • High school equivalent plus two years inventory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Computer literate in Windows Word and Excel software.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw logical conclusions and issue reports.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Ability to work with all levels of customers, management, and drivers to resolve differences and problems effectively.
