We are looking for a Network Implementation Engineer to join our team in Cluj-Napoca!

By joining Copeland you will have the meaningful role of being part of the Global Implementation/Service Transition Group, within Global Network Infrastructure Team, to engineer services to be delivered and operated in a globally consistent manner by Service Delivery/Operations.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Work on multiple simultaneous projects to implement new technologies and configuration in conjunction with other Network/Security Groups specializing in LAN and WLAN networks.

  • Serve as technical consultant on global and individual site network projects.

  • Act as a lead and subject expert for certain technologies/services within the Globally Network Infrastructure Services team.

  • Participate in the Globally Network Infrastructure Services Team Security Release Management Processes for New Services and ongoing Service Feature releases.

  • Work with Service Design on the initial service concept ensuring a handover to Service Transition team and operations.

  • Work in a multi-functional team to develop the service and required outputs.

  • Train and handover the service such that it can be delivered and supported consistently.

  • Participate in and applies the same Process for subsequent service releases as defined by the Service Roadmap.

  • Act an interface between Service Design, Service Delivery Provisioning team, Operations, and local Area IT support team.

  • Provide efficient and timely 4th level support to Operations for advanced issues and drives these to resolution.

  • Work with Design Engineering on chronic Problems.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in Information Systems or related area.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the implementation and operation of LAN/WLAN networks with Cisco hardware.

  • Minimum of five years of experience in the implementation and operation of Enterprise Site LAN and WLAN Networks.

  • Cisco Qualifications, CCNA/CCNP Preferred.

  • Experience with Routers, Switches, Wireless Controllers, Access Points, and LAN VRF routing.

  • Cisco – LAN (Port-Channels, trunks, ACL, static routes, vlans L2/L3 routing, physical and logical segmentation, etc.).

  • Cisco – WLAN (Local WLC, FlexConnect, SSID implementation, solutioning).

  • Cisco – WAN (MPLS, Internet, IPSEC, Encapsulation).

  • Cisco Management Platforms – (DNAC, Prime, ISE TACACS, ISE Radius, Solarwinds, Service Now, etc).

  • Experience with Firewall fixing (Source IP, Destination IP, and TCP/UDP protocols).

  • Detailed understanding of the function and configuration of Cisco networking equipment.

  • Resolution and Configuration of the Cisco Catalyst LAN and WLAN in a large Enterprise environment.

  • Coordinating and configuring layer 2 and layer 3 Cisco networks.

  • Knowledge of VLANs, spanning tree, BGP and EIGRP.

  • Understanding of IP addressing including subnetting and super netting.

  • Superb Communication and Teamwork skills.

  • Proficiency in English (verbal, reading, writing, understanding).

  • Process control and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of ITIL v3

  • Experience of working in a global environment.

  • Ability to perform implementation activities when needed.
