We are looking for an IT Software Asset Management Analyst who will have the responsibility for supporting the day-to-day activities and reporting of the IT Software Asset Management department at Copeland.

Initial focus for this role will include responsibility for supporting software renewals as well as accurately tracking and reporting on their completion.

We need a future colleague who possess excellent interpersonal skills, and has a proven understanding of software asset management and licensing.

This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania .

We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide Software License Management support for Copeland IT, including all software license types (subscription, perpetual, and concurrent).

  • Ensure software entitlements are accurately recorded and updated in the system of record (ServiceNow).

  • Assist in implementing the processes and tools required to assure accurate and comprehensive management of enterprise software, license allocation and entitlements.

  • Work with IT and functional leaders on Forecasting and Demand needed for purchasing and cost leverage for renewals.

  • Assist Copeland AP in invoice research and facilitation of payment.

  • Maintain the Copeland IT vendor inventory in ServiceNow.

  • Work cross-functionally between the functional customer, IT Service owner, Finance, Procurement and Business/IT towers to identify process improvements, manage risk exposure, and provide a great customer experience.

  • Participate in special projects for the VP, IT VMO, Training, and Communications.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of work experience in the Information Technology, IT Procurement field, and/or IT Finance.

  • Advanced skills in Word and Excel.

  • An understanding of Procurement and IT Software licensing and software asset management.

  • Ability to collaborate and desire to continue to learn and grow.

  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience with Power BI, ServiceNow and Agiloft (or other CLM tools).

  • An understanding of other IT areas, such as Hardware, Services, and Telecom is desirable.

  • Experience of working in a multinational environment.

  • Other foreign languages are a strong plus.
