Description We are recruiting for an Accounting Assistant role in the Real Estate industry in Clovis, CA. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be involved in various accounting tasks and functions such as accounts payable and receivable. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity with the possibility to become a contract to permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable tasks • Utilizing accounting software systems for financial management • Executing basic accounting tasks and functions • Maintaining and updating customer credit records • Processing customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner • Resolving customer inquiries related to accounts and billing • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and financial tracking • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary • Ensuring all accounting functions are performed in compliance with industry regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is needed • Must be adept at Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with Accounting Functions is essential • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary • Ability to handle Billing Functions is mandatory • Knowledge of Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry is preferred • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed • Must demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred • Must adhere to strict confidentiality in regard to financial information
