The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Coordinating the forward-looking supply plan, purchasing raw materials, scheduling production, and managing finished good inventory for multiple manufacturing areas.

• Communicating with other 3M locations, external suppliers, and various business teams to meet service, cost, and inventory targets.

• Organizing cycle counting activities, identifying root cause for inventory discrepancies, posting inventory adjustments, reporting inventory results, and developing improvement plans to drive inventory accuracy improvements.

• Developing and maintaining operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations as well as aligning supply with demand.

• Providing planning analysis to support decision-making.

• Publishing and presenting service and inventory metrics and results.

• Managing working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets

• Working with various business teams to review and identify portfolio improvement opportunities

• Supporting the planning for new product introductions through effective procurement and scheduling

• Identifying and implementing supply chain process improvement projects

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• APICS Certification or pursuing completion

• Combined knowledge of relevant supply chain systems and/or demonstrated ability to learn and apply systems knowledge

• Skills or experience as a systems implementation analyst

• Experience working with cross-functional teams

• Skills analyzing data and making informed decisions.

• Skills communicating results, future plans, and recommendations across the organization.

• Experience using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel

• Experience utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

• Experience using SAP

Work location:

• Clinton, TN.

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $72,681 - $88,832, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
